Just wanted to wish everyone a happy St. Patty's Day. Just like leap year and spring break, everyone likes to celebrate them but don't really know where they came from. Here's a little history on St. Patty's Day:

Many are asking, what's the deal with Feb. 29th? It's pretty basic. The pattern of our lives depends on it: The current calendar needs the extra hours to stay aligned with Earth's orbit. Otherwise, we'd have winter in July in about 10,000 years.

Ha! My Calendar Says It's 2004!

Volkswagon is said to be unveiling a new hybrid at Geneva Motor Show. This car is supposed to get about 70 miles per gallon, emmiting less CO2 than most compact cars on the market today. The new Volkswagon will be powered by a 2.0 liter diesel/electric engine with a parallel hybrid drivetrain. For more information about this car visit Autopia. This new hybrid electric compares to the current model called the Polo Blue Motion, also having a diesiel/electric engine.
